Who We Are
We are the Colorado Doula Project. We are full-spectrum doulas, reproductive justice advocates, community leaders, small business owners, students, and parents. We are people of color, white allies, Colorado-born, transplants, and hailing from different nations. We are gay, straight, lesbian, trans, and queer.
We support the rights of all people to make informed and empowered choices about their sexual and reproductive health.
We are a grassroots community nonprofit collective that honors choice for every individual by providing free emotional, physical, and informational support through the spectrum of reproductive experience.
In a society where people are often treated as incapable of making informed choices about their bodies, and where the current choices available to them are further eroded every day, we provide vital advocacy and nonjudgmental support.
We are full-spectrum doulas, committed to caring for all pregnant people, including queer and trans people, low income individuals and families, and people of color. Our work is intersectional, and we are committed to ensuring that this is reflected in both the people we serve and the volunteers who provide those services.
Full-spectrum doula work involves supporting all people across the range of reproductive choices and experiences, including pregnancy prevention, conception, birth, postpartum, miscarriage, abortion, adoption, and fertility.
